In the darkness that prevails
awakens a new day
to the sound of thunder
to the ruthlessness of the winds;
Rattling the twigs
shattering the window panes
for the nature is impatient
replicating the destroyers of itself.
Hours pass by under the dim stars
the bark has faded by
for the night has surprised all
humans and dogs alike;
Withered lay the leaves below
the air has subsided its flow
with minutes to spare before the dawn
the chirping is yet to power on!
The ticking clock for the early risers
inviting them for a jolly walk
the grass is a lot wet however
the dew has lost itself to the shock;
The whistle of the first cook
studious sticking to their book
the usual of the everyday
is yet to begin its say.
For the sun is yet to rise
worried are the wise
the sky is still grey
as clouds have made their way;
The fields have been washed
more than the need be
the countrymen have apologised
bending on their knee.
Nights and days have passed by
the trauma is still on
“Water is what gives you life”
its the best of all con;
Morning, evening all the same
the self has the entire blame
for an act of past has answered all
leaving a memory of fall.
The darkness that prevailed
has finally cleared itself away
building up the tiny blocks
in the wake of a new day!
For the sun is high above
to answer the plead of all
to cover for the nightmare
the deeds have been taken care of, after all!
