Reminiscence

He slept by his window,
Lost in deep thought;
The moon was high,
The stars twinkled in lot;
Thoughts of the past,
The good old memory:
Time spent with a friend,
An evening with family;
Smiled he, in the dream of home,
For he was out in the world to roam.

Night was passing away,
The clouds made it's way;
The moonlight was fading,
Drops of rain falling;
To the beat of the strings,
Danced the peacock with wings;
Love, care in the air,
For it was a both way affair;
The smile grew longer,
For he had hopes to ponder!

Smile changed its name,
For its not always about fame;
No past is a walk on cake,
Smiling then was a task so fake;
Haunting are the flashbacks,
The wind rattling the racks;
For he lost the one so dear,
His heart was filled with a strange deep fear;
Window panes shivering with cold,
He still had been quite strong and bold.

With the break of dawn,
The calm of he was gone;
Life, like every other day,
Is a mix of red and grey;
Jolly, grief and suspense,
Viewed the guy's lens;
Though the clouds may disappear,
but the pain will remain here;
The sweet memories are gone,
Still then, life has to move on.
